Skoki Loop Backcountry Camping.
While hiking alongside the headwaters of the Red Deer River, Michael and I shared a multitude of conversations and possibly an equal amount of time in silent reflection. Discussions of the metaphysical in the fresh mountain forest felt like we were contributing our thoughts to natures' inearthed collection of endless listening. Not to be ignored was the serene scenery that was superbly supplementary to our sincere dialogue. With each pause to observe our surroundings, also serving as a moment to catch my breath, I hoped to capture our connection to nature.
