Deer.
I am always surprised by the number of deer I see in Coleman. They seem to use our back alley as a routine route, which keeps the vines pruned while they snack on the grapes during the fall. Although we have dogs that deter them from eating, the deer stand unphased, watching them until they stop barking. I am grateful for our fence that keeps them out, as I am sure they would decimate the foliage we have. The deer are creaturely neighbours, and it is said that good fences make good neighbours.
