A Failing System.
Caring for children who are not as fortunate as me to have peace and healthy family backgrounds takes a toll on my heart. I find myself exhausted by the endless dance of regulating emotions. Whether it is my emotions I am managing or those of the students I work with, the school system is deteriorating. Discussing problems with formal education is contentious so I will leave this here.
