7. Christian Communism w/ Trevor Schaffrick

See this content in the original post

In this episode, I have my friend Trevor on to discuss this somewhat controversial chapter. He is a pastor of a local church and is immersed in developing a meaningful community in the context he is in. Throughout our conversation, we attempt to answer three questions:

  1. Do we agree with the claims of the authors? Why or why not?

  2. Is there an alternative social or economic structure that you think better resembles the Kingdom of God?

  3. What practical steps can we take to care for other people within our current structures?

In this season, I'm exploring the book "Called to Community," edited and compiled by Charles E. Moore. Throughout this year-long study, I will work through what it means to live intentionally with others. The book covers a wide range of topics, authors, and ideas, that exemplify the diversity of Christian communities.
